As the “bridgehead” and “main force” of Tianjin in advancing the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Wuqing district is focusing on the deep integration of station, industry, and city, striving to play a new role in regional integration and Beijing-Tianjin urban integration.

　　With station-driven development, momentum is gathering. Currently, it takes just over 20 minutes by high-speed train from Wuqing Railway Station to Beijingnan Railway Station, and a little over 10 minutes to Tianjin Railway Station. Multiple customized express buses between Beijing and Tianjin cover major residential areas, with cross-boundary and commuter buses seamlessly connected. As a platform for receiving the non-capital functions of Beijing, the Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New City is fully underway. Seven industrial function zones, including Wuqing Development Zone and Jingqing Automobile Industrial Park, have established integrated systems for construction, production, investment and services.
