At 9:50 a.m. on August 13, a whistle sounded as CRE train X9043, loaded with 55 containers of photovoltaic modules, slowly departed from Xi'an Guojigang Railway Station. With this departure, the total number of CRE trains launched from Xi'an surpassed 30,000, accounting for more than one-quarter of the national total. Xi'an Guojigang Railway Station thus became the first station in the country to exceed 30,000 trains, ranking first nationwide in train launches, freight volume and loaded-container rates.

　　As of July 31, Xi'an had launched 571 full-schedule CRE trains, accounting for more than half of the national total. For example, in cross-border e-commerce, full-schedule trains have reduced delivery times by more than 30% compared with regular services, at less than one-fifth the cost of air freight.

　　By July 31, Xi'an had also launched 400 CRE trains on the Caspian Sea route, making up more than 80% of the national total. This "rail-sea-rail" corridor connects China, Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and onwards to Europe, cutting transport time to as little as 11 days compared with traditional routes.
