From January to August this year, freight volume exported via China-Vietnam Railway Express trains originating in Guangxi reached 400,000 tons, up 104.4% year on year, showing continued strong momentum.
To meet the growing transport demand, CR-Nanning has enhanced service efficiency through multiple measures. In process optimization, tailored solutions such as "one enterprise, one policy" and "dedicated staff and teams" have been adopted. Online communication groups have been established for real-time coordination between marketing staff and clients, while offline services feature "single-window processing" with priority given to acceptance, container pick-up and waybill issuance for China-Vietnam cross-border goods, improving customer experience. For container availability, given the high demand, daily checks of empty containers in freight yards are conducted, with coordinated allocation and approval time for loading plans shortened to within one day, thus enhancing loading efficiency. For capacity adjustment, train hauling capacity has been raised from 1,000 tons to 1,300 tons, and Pingxiang Railway Station has shifted some daytime marshalling work to nighttime to reduce shunting, further improving efficiency.
At present, more than 2,000 categories of goods are imported and exported through the Pingxiang railway port in Guangxi, covering 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China. Major trade partners include Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. The operation of China-Vietnam Railway Express trains has effectively facilitated the export of more "Made in China" products to overseas markets and strongly promoted trade exchanges between China and ASEAN countries.
